I can’t understand why guys think that only guys get friend-zoned. We get friend-zoned too and still why the term is so negative? If a person doesn’t like you, you can’t force them to date you. So if a girl is rejected, she has to wear her big girl panties and accept the rejection because a girl is expected to be mature, while the guy has to be pitied, called: ''you got friend-zoned mate,'' and the girl is seen as the mean one. Why? I like nice guys but it doesn’t mean I have to date them all. In effect if I dated them all, I'd be a whore, but if it was the man who dated many girls and treated them like rubbish, he'd be seen as the cool one. If I’m not physically attracted, you’re just a friend to me, and the same goes towards me. I rejected men many times, as much as I myself got rejected. Why the guys can’t accept it?

4. When people misunderstand a parody picture, a status, a comment, an article or whatever the fuck I make. (fuck you, not everything is about your damn ego!)

5. Passive aggressive people who rant about other people, while they themselves do the same thing. Example: ‘’I hate when people talk behind my back. Let me tell you what happened, a girl said this and that about me, well let me tell you all, she’s a fucken whore and am not saying it behind her back because it’s on facebook and she’s blocked.’’ (Do you notice the lack of logic, irony and contradiction in this status?)

6. When someone misunderstands my fucken opinion, and want to judge me, lecture me, tell me to get a life, that I’m fucken wrong, that I don’t know what am talking about and that they’re going to get revenge on me, find me and kill me in an atrocious way. (sometimes it can come from someone who is devotedly religious, an open-minded person, a peaceful hippie, or from someone who lives on the other side of the planet.)

7. The unforgettable, beloved, copy and paste messages that if I don’t paste and share I won’t be a true friend. (yes because of course true friendship is determined by a facebook status.)

8. When people message me to like something. (Well I like pistachio ice-cream, but I never told anyone to lick it for me.)

9. When religious zealots want to shove their believes down my throat, and send me some god gibberish message, telling me to copy and share otherwise I won’t be a good, sensitive person. (Well I can touch myself and smell my feet, so I’m quiet sensitive. I also believe in the whole mighty gremlins, and if you keep pissing me off, I’ll send them to your house.)

10. When people engage me in a conversation about an event. (Jesus Christ, there’s the event button for that.)

11. When people put personal adverts on my pages and groups.

Now there are even sites dedicated to Facebook statuses.

It's rare that I argue with someone or block anyone from here. I'm quiet here like I am in the real world.



However this afternoon, I had a bad encounter with someone very rude.



This is why I miss the Lurking option, no one ever bothered me with message spam back then. I should of ignored it like I usually do with messages that I don't care about like; i rated u n add u plz return d favor or sexual/dating messages or even those messages like 'hi'. I even had one writing 'hi' about 3 times a day before they got fed up.



Seriously if one wants to impress me they have to say something intelligent and/or interesting, that's why the message window is big. I'm not a snob but I expect an effort.



What this person doesn't even realize is, that apart from reading the VR Manual, if they wanted to be in a Mentorship, they should of checked the Mentorship section to see the mentors' list, as well as, learn some manners.



Boy, you don't talk like this to someone you know, let alone someone you don't, especially if that someone is a staff member that in the future could help you. (just reminded me the previous entry and the fact that the newer generation doesn't know manners and ethics).



Don't try to act big and tough, just because you're behind a monitor. Also, if you have this type of attitude and you want to join a mentorship, I don't really think you'll be welcomed. Big boy and tough attitude has a short life in here. We have many like this, and none are in the cool crowd.

Youngsters who don't want to work and study.



Youngsters who take drugs. And nowadays drugs are the normality, it's not something of the poor, social cases people. It's not sold at the rave parties only. Cocaine is not the famous and rich people's drug only. It's of everyone's.



Youngsters who prefer to take selfies rather than study.



So these 'goody' methods are failing. We are living in a failed society.



And to continue what I started, was it all needed?



If I wanted to commit suicide I'd do it privately, and not tell a single person.

Suicides ought to be frowned upon. I do not know why it happens. There are various forms of suicide if one bothers to read up about it. Of course the ultimate being the literal taking of one's own life. I find that society can be murderous, unconsciously sending an already sensitive individual to take drastic actions.

people forgot about reality and everything became virtuality, people like you said will check their facebook status instead of going ot their friends live to live speaking...the thechnology was not the problem the problem is like yu said, we failed.

Yes chilren have rights.. but no responsibility, young teenagers are like: I got rights.. but forget to be responsible and know they can pretty od anything and not be consider repsonsible, even murder or bully to the point of making someone suiicide.

Jus last night in the new, a teenagerw ho had rape a girl, threathen to kill the father of the girl because she press charges.. and he will not be charge as an adult.. for this adult crime because he is a teenager.

Teenagers and even young ones at times want to be like adult saying they are like adult and should be allowed like adult priviledge but dont want the responsibility.



We failed because we forgot to give repsonsibility and teach it to the generations and this is going worst and worst, we still don,t teach them, and like you say we can,t even punish them, which result in the that... I don't mean beat them to punsh them, but no one never died of spanking when they knew what the spanking was for, my kids got spanked and they knew why I even asked them: you know why they would answer yes because I did this or that, not because mom is upset but because they were responsiblt for that thing.



Today its not like that, ... and the results is what we see, younger and increase in suicide, pregnancy, bullying...



Kid of 16 years old forced a working woman to loose or leave her job because outside her job she did a porn movie she is over 18 she is 30 ish, she is allowed by the law to do that but the kids of 16 by law are not a llowed to be on adult site they blakc mailed her, told her she had to have sex with them or they would tell her boss she had done that movie, she got fired while they got no consequences.... she got blamed for everythng they got no consequences for the black mailing, no consequences for going on those sites.



what message did these boys got? they can blackmail girls, and do what they want because they are not repsonsible others are.

I fear for the girls in their schools.

What I find funny is this. Youngsters tend to label everything they do as "culture". There is a suicide culture. If you really think about it, driving at fast speeds after drinking is a sign of suicide. Self-harm is also a form of suicide. Psychological harm in itself is a form of suicide. It can get pretty dark. A simple break up in a relationship sends a person on a downward spiral. Alot of good music stems from the suicide of the top musicians. Alot of great poets became legendary through suicide. Suicide has become a norm. When I was younger, I had plenty of thoughts of suicide. But I realised the value of life and how much it would affect everyone around me. I'm sure it'll bring much joy to my enemies, but just imagine the trauma. It is sad, indeed. There's always help at hand. Good Samaritans, psychiatrists, counsellors. One cannot denybthat no help is around.

Rape is still seen as a little crime. In Italy it happens a lot by teens, and they hardly get sentenced, not only that but the parents support them. Rapists' parents support their children, and play the victim!!!!!!!



Suicide- yes I had many. I lived more than half of my life with suicidal thoughts and I was real. Thing is, when I said this to my peers I wasn't taken seriously and was told that I wanted attention.



So the deal is this. Who is real is not believed. Who isn't real is pitied.



What a failed society.



And what about the other case? The case of that English girl, that was sending questions on ask.fm to herself, and committed suicide?

sadly kids have no concept of consequences for their actions and no concept of responsibility and also most of them live in cotton balls made from their parents... while the others end up being the punching bag of the cotton kids.



simple example: teachers gets threathen to be sued or loose their jobs if a kid fails because he/she did'nt get the grades, because he/she did'nt do any work all year and did'nt care or was an ashole and disturb others, or beat up other kids, etch... this is what is teached as a life lesson... "you are not repsonsible for your actions others are" then we wonder why so much suicide so much violence so much... giving up life...

So it's the Easter weekend. Even though I'm not a believer, I still like it when people tell me happy Easter on-line and off-line.



Many friends of mine would argue that, festivity is all commercial and since they don't believe, they hate to receive happy whatever holiday. Others would argue that, people tell you happy holidays just as a courtesy and not for honesty.



Well let me tell you this. Whatever is the reason, you should always thank the other person. It doesn't matter if you don't believe or if it's just courtesy. Just be grateful that someone thought of you. I even thank messages of Thanks Giving and possibly I'll receive some on the 4th of July. I'm not American, yet I still thank people. I'm grateful that they thought of me. Much better than many others who have forgotten me, after they saw me of no use to them.



Another thing I want to criticize, is this cliché that festivity is only business. Yeah nothing new. It’s the same shit repeated over and over. Honesty I'm getting tired & fed up of this cliché. All festivity is commercial.



In the meantime many people who say that festivity is only business, just repeat what other people are saying, because it's the cool thing to say.



In the meantime, the same people don't mind to celebrate their birthday. Isn't that a commercial festivity too? Oh yes because as long as a festivity is about them, then no, that’s not commercial, that is acceptable. They have the right to celebrate. They are important, so they celebrate. Ego big much?



And how about the weekends? Those lovely weekends that tend to put many people in trouble and make them broke too, and afterwards complain that they don’t have money for a living. Aren't going to clubs and spending all your money in alcohol commercial as well?



Everything is commercial. Even shitting is commercial. Living is commercial. Eating is commercial. You buy food to live. After you digest food you shit it. So the business argument is bullshit.



In the meantime, no one whines when they receive gifts, are invited to parties and have the holidays. No one whines for that stuff.



Thus, happy Easter, or whatever you do or don’t celebrate.

I can't get it why people get affected by music. I never listen to music according to my mood. If I like a song, whatever genre it is, of whoever it is, of whatever year it is, whatever lyrics it has, if I like the tune; it'll make me happy. I always listen to a song according to what I want to listen to, at that moment, rather than what I feel.



My tastes don't have a genre or s.t.y.l.e. My tastes vary and are very versatile.



Currently I'm listening to relatively modern music and early 2000's. Then today I listened to some Goth. I haven't listened any of this genre for years now, yet I still like it. People can say it's crappy I don't care and don't get influenced. The lyrics might be something like: ''I'm shitting and thinking of you. I'm pissing and thinking of you;'' I don't care I'll like it too.



I tend to listen to music that is played during a commercial most of the time. It catches my ear.



While I was browsing you-tube videos, I came across The Backstreetboys and N-Synch videos. I have to say that history repeats itself.



When I was a teen, adults that were the age I am now, used to tell me: you, youngsters listen to crap, you don't know real and good music.



Nowadays, the same teenagers that now are my same age, are posting on you-tube stating that today's teenagers listen to crap and that at their times, music was much better.



So while history repeats itself, generations are the same too. The older ones hate the newer ones.



Some of my friends would argue that, this kind of music is crap, no matter who produces it, and no matter what year it was done. For them any commercial music and mainstream stuff is bad and anyone who likes it, has a chicken brain.



Well let me tell you this, I could listen to pop music and a few seconds after I'd listen to death metal. Whatever music I listen to, I'll remain the same.



Whether people are wise or stupid, in the end, it's the population who make people and song tracks popular. It's the people that choose after all.



That's why every time I see a celebrity being an asshole I feel disgusted. Whether they make music, movies, or whatever, they get famous because of us, they make money because of us.



It's in the population's hands to decide what is likable and what is not. The worst thing you can do is betray and offend your fan-base. That's why they should be careful because one day they are up the stars, the day after they are down the stable.

However not all is bad. I still enjoy living here, no matter how many flaws there are. Other countries are bigger, have more stuff, but all countries have their own issues.



The fact that I can with just a bus ticket go anywhere, I like it. For example, nowadays since the weather got relatively better and warmer, I'm passing my Saturdays going around places. I went to a Northern place and a Central one.



I enjoyed my road trip and short walk at the Capital city afterwards.



I enjoyed it even though I went solo. I need a break from people from time to time. I enjoy solitude, even though I could have quite a social life if I wanted to.



This also helps me evolving my character. When traveling alone, I can go anywhere I want to, at the time I want to, and not have to decide with someone else. I also enjoy much more a trip like this during the day, rather than clubbing/bar hopping during the night.



My peers say that in here there isn't much to see, that sight seeing is boring. Well I tell you not. Our country is old and has a lot of history. So it is indeed beautiful. This also helps me with my hobby of photo taking and video making.

I live in a country that many of you wouldn't even find on the map. Those that have known me for the 9 years I've been here, relatively know what I'm talking about. I joined in 2005 and yes the mentality is still the same over here.

Here anything that is not Catholic is considered of the devil.



Here even the culture is different. For example, in America and many other countries, unmarried adults that still live with their parents are considered immature and a big turn off when one is seeking commitment in a partner, here it's different.



Here if you say you want to leave your parents' basement because you're an adult and want independence; you're considered as a delinquent that doesn't respect your parents.



Unmarried couples are considered as living in sin. Obviously it depends about who I'm talking about. Luckily the mentality has changed over the years but not completely and this mentality is not found in old people only. Even some young people have this mentality. The country is mixed but the majority have the old fashioned Catholic mentality.



In the meantime, although there's this mentality, we have a high amount of pregnant teenagers and unmarried women. Big part of this are ignorance, lack of responsibility, peer/sometimes event parenthood pressure, the other part is high social benefits.



Humor that I couldn't share on fb: in our language, we say: ''today meat and candy have no value'' (if you literally translate it) I'm referring to Lent by the way. So my question is; if they have no value can I get them for free?

People do anything to get popular these days.

Good lord, do people piss me off? Yes they do!



On two videos in particular, people commented on these videos that are made for fun (these are from the buzzfeed site) and they took them too seriously.



On one of them they said that they don't do all those things because they are women and on the other they don't do those things because they're single or that they do them in a relationship. So fucken what? The videos are just general they're not making them individual. People just make a fuss out of nothing.

Timeless truth. I don't do any of those things, either and I'm single. It's just harmless fun. People should take these things with a pinch of salt and just watch them for tips. Oh well.

your wrong lordess,im an old school type of guy,i look for personailty in a woman,i dislike glam though,im a Rocker/cowboy biker type,i like a rough type of lady who digs motorcycles,is not afraid to get her hands dirty,and cries or screams when a bug crawls on her.shes the type who just pushes it off herself,i dont talk for other guys,i know how i am,yeah,i do like a woman who takes care of her self,lets me know she has self esteem,health is important,i take care of myself too.so yeah if your fat,not likely for me,but fat people can become thin people and do something about it instead of whine about it,of why no one wants me.Peace Elviscat

Pity I'll start my April journal with negativity but my thoughts are what they are.



In my life I learned to see contradictions easily and I sort of have a bullshit radar.



I don't pity anyone who is responsible for their own actions. Others call me cold hearted, I call myself realistic.



Most of the time, those who claim to be good and moral are actually selfish. Who are you to tell others how to live their life, because you say so? Because their freedom offends you? Most moralism is b.s. I could elaborate on this, but not tonight.

From my experience, I feel that what drives these "moralistic" people is just fear. The saving of face, shame, is what is truly in question here. I am not sure from what perspective you are speaking of this, but that's just what I think. And then there are those who hide behind the "moralistic" facade when they are truly just jealous of your freedom. They want you to go through the same things as they have just because it is the norm and to deviate from the normal path would be too shocking and new. I guess some "moralistic" people make it their business to make our lives miserable. Morals are just socially accepted "rules". They differ for different societies. Ignorant people. It's what works for them. I don't feel like I belong in my physical society... So why should I follow their morals? Morals are not all good and full of value - they're just accepted rules by a certain group.



People fail to understand that.

Yup. I agree with the thread's title.



Sadly this is found on here too, even though this is a dark site.



Just look at how people treat your journal. Most add you to level up and be added back. Only a few people, really read your journal and comment on thoughtful entries. The majority would read an entry only if it was a rant or gossip on a member/s.



Where have the intellectuals gone?

It is sad but common here. I try to read as many as I can. Sometimes I fall behind because my Internet drops or I get into a discussion and forget to go back to journal reading, maybe I should make them a priority:-)
